ADMISSION

The program is open to individual who have the sincere desire for a career opportunity in the medical field. The school encourage applicant from all cultural, racial, religious and ethnic background to apply. Requirments

Applicants must meet the following requirements

• Be at least 17 years and 11 months of age.
• The student must have parental or guardian consent and signature if less than 18 years old.
• Have a high school diploma, GED, or successfully pass the Career Program Assessment Test (CPAT) and students must obtain a minimum passing score of 129.
• Applicants have to provide evidence of good moral character based on applicant-supplied letters of recommendation from an applicant's high school, previous college or vocational school principal, instructor, or administrator.
• Have a personal interview.
• Submit a signed enrollment agreement.

Notes: All programs require that the individual be in good health and have the physical capabilities to move patients and equipment. To seek employment the applicant must have the ability to speak and read English.

All students must complete a separate course in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) - heart saver level in order to graduate or demonstrate current documentation of course completion.

Required Clinical Internships/Externships are completed at approved clinical sites. Students will not receive any financial compensation during clinical externship.

A Background Check may be required in order complete the Externship clock hours or Clinical requirements in some home health care facilities.

ENROLLMENT PROCEDURES

The first step in the enrollment process is to tour the institution and meet with an admissions representative.and the family have the opportunity to learn about the training programs. The personal interview gives the institution an opportunity to evaluate the applicant.

Acceptance by Institution

The applicant will be informed of the admissions decision after interview by the Administrative or Education Director, and review of required documents.
