DESCRIPTION OF INSTITUTION

Office Hours
The school administrative office is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 9 PM. The Registration Department is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Classrooms
Florida Educational Institute occupies approximately 4,000 Sq Ft on the second floor of a commercial building, conveniently located in Miami Gardens, FL. The school facility includes a lobby and reception area, administrative offices, instructional classrooms, and computer, medical, and surgical technician training laboratories. There is a kitchen and refreshment area, as well as a study area with library books. Free student parking and convenient transit services are available. Florida Educational Institute complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

CLASSROOMS ARE DESIGNED TO MEET THE TRAINING NEED OF OUR STUDENTS. ADVANCED TECHNOLOGICAL TOOLS ARE INCORPORATED IN ALL OF OUR CLASSROOMS (SMART BOARDS, COMPUTERS, VIDEO PROJECTORS AND MULTIMEDIA SOFTWARE). WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE CORE AND GENERAL EDUCATION COURSES, A TYPICAL PROGRAMMATIC CLASS CONTAINS 20 STUDENTS.

Laboratory
At FEI, we believe in hands-on training is the only way our students can get ready for the job market and be a productive member of the work force, right after graduation day. As a result, each one of our program has a lab that help the student better prepare accomplish their tasks.

InstitutionResourceCenter
The institution Resource Center contains instructional videos and nursing journals, medical texts, and technical manuals. Students will have access to Library resources through the Library and Information Resources Network, Inc (LIRN). The Learning Resource Center has Internet accessible computer workstations for student use. Students and instructors may use Resource Center materials while on campus. Courses do not require the use of a Resource Center for satisfactory completion.

Equipment
The classroom/lab contains all equipment and supplies needed to complete the theory and lab portions of all programs.

The Office of Student Services offers you a full range of services and resources to support you from your first class through graduation. Our office provides everything from Academic Advising, Counseling Services, Career Development Services, services for Students with Disabilities and International Students, so please stop by.
